What You’ll Do

As a Senior Social Motion Designer, you’ll leverage your extensive motion and animation experience to research and experiment—with brands and social alike. You will collaborate with art directors, designers, video producers, copywriters, and the account team to make content that gets us, and our clients, noticed. From scroll-stopping motion graphics to complex animations, you will be challenged to lead the agency in all things movement on social (and beyond). You’ll also feel peer pressure to explain which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is the most handsome.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree from university, college, or art institute and/or…
• 5+ years work experience as a motion graphic artist or related position, preferably at an agency
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in motion graphics, animation, and visual design
• Experience creating and cultivating brand identities and strategies
• Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
• Proven record in producing content for marketing and advertising goals
• Mindset to balance creative content production with data-driven strategy to optimize performance
• Creative input on campaign strategy, including suggesting innovative ideas for content and digital media initiatives
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of video editing techniques and principles
• Proven ability to concept for marketing and advertising goals
• A hunger to embrace generative AI and emerging tools
• The drive to constantly innovate and experiment

• WordPress CMS, basic HTML, and CSS knowledge/experience
• Live video shooting capabilities with knowledge of digital camera, lighting, and audio
• Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Maya
• Post-production capabilities such as VFX and compositing work
