What You'll Do

As a project manager at Mad Genius, you’ll wield order with purpose, crafting seamless workflows and bringing bold cinematic visions to life across every screen. You’ll manage with the team in mind and Monday.com at your fingertips, turning project puzzles into streamlined schedules that scale and sing. Efficiency is a baseline, not a buzzword. You’ll collaborate with the ops team, think in milestones, and speak fluent KPI. You’ll bring sharp logistical thinking to kickoffs, chase clarity in communication, and use every tool, from checklists to calendars, to make the agency a better place.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience managing creative workflows, ideally within a video production or full-service agency environment
  • Hyper-organized mindset with the proven ability to juggle 10+ active projects across multiple phases of development
  • Expert in project management software (preferably Monday.com) for building tasks, tracking automations, and maintaining the departmental source of truth
  • Tech-savvy navigator comfortable with digital file structures, review platforms, and internal resource tools
  • Exceptional discernment for micro-decisions—knowing when to push a deadline, pivot a resource, or flag a bottleneck
  • Internal-first focus with the professional polish to coordinate client presentations and manage executive availability
  • Comfortable reporting to leadership and providing high-level visibility into team capacity and project health
  • Mastery of the hybrid agency style, balancing rigid delivery dates with the necessary flexibility of the creative process
  • Ability to act as air traffic control for the team, shielding creators from logistical distractions so they can focus on the craft
  • Proficient in resource management, ensuring editors and cinematographers are neither over-leveraged nor sitting idle
  • Strong documentation skills for tracking project scopes and budget hours, ensuring final deliverables align with the initial brief
  • Comfortable troubleshooting scheduling conflicts and conducting logistical QA to ensure no detail falls through the cracks
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with the video production lifecycle, with understanding of the distinct time and resource needs for producing, shooting, and editing
  • Hungry to learn AI tools
