What You'll Do
As a product designer at Mad Genius, you’ll solve problems with purpose, crafting intuitive experiences and bringing complex solutions to life across digital ecosystems. You’ll design with empathy in mind and Figma at your fingertips, turning research into scalable design systems that evolve and endure. Usability is a baseline, not a buzzword. You’ll collaborate with engineers, think in user journeys, and speak fluent product logic. You’ll bring strategic design thinking to sprints, chase frictionless interaction, and use every tool—from data to delivery—to make the digital world a more functional place.
What You'll Need
- 2+ years of experience crafting end-to-end digital products and user-centric mobile or web applications
- Excellent visual design skills, with a strong eye for hierarchy, clarity, and interface scalability
- Expert in Figma for high-fidelity prototyping and building/maintaining complex design systems
- Familiarity with brand strategy and the ability to translate visual identity into functional UI components
- Comfortable leading design workshops and justifying product decisions to stakeholders and clients
- Ability to design for multi-platform environments (iOS, Android, web) with accessibility at the core (WCAG 2.1+)
- Basic understanding of technical feasibility and version control (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of front-end constraints (HTML5/CSS3) to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Experience implementing micro-interactions and motion design to enhance user feedback and delight
- Comfortable conducting visual QA and collaborating with devs to ensure the final build meets design specs
- Hungry to learn AI tools
This role is open for in-house or regional hybrid candidates. Candidates in Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, and nearby regional markets are encouraged to apply; periodic (a few times a year) in-office collaboration is required.
