Sound like the kind of place you want to work? Perfect. Read on…

What You’ll Do

As a UI designer at Mad Genius, you’ll wield pixels with purpose, crafting intuitive interfaces and bringing bold ideas to life across web and mobile platforms. You’ll design with users in mind and Figma at your fingertips, turning wireframes into component-based systems that scale and sing. Accessibility isn’t a buzzword; it’s a baseline. You’ll collaborate with developers, think in breakpoints, and speak fluent style guide. You might even throw in a subtle animation (hello, GSAP) when the moment’s right. You’ll bring sharp design thinking to brainstorms, chase elegance in interaction, and use every tool—from grids to gradients—to make the web a better place.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of experience crafting user interfaces for web or mobile applications
  • Expert in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and maintaining design systems
  • Strong grasp of modern UX principles, interaction design, and usability best practices
  • Experience creating and managing component-based design libraries
  • Ability to design responsively across breakpoints with accessibility in mind (WCAG 2.1+)
  • Comfortable presenting and justifying design decisions to internal teams and clients
  • Familiarity with branding systems and the ability to apply visual identity consistently
  • Experience designing for CMS-based environments (e.g., WordPress, Statamic, Craft)
  • Proficient in mapping user flows, building low-to-high fidelity prototypes, and design documentation
  • Basic understanding of Git
  • Proficient in HTML5, semantic markup, and modern CSS3 techniques
  • Deep understanding of responsive layout, including flexbox, grid, and fluid type scales
  • Experience working with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first frameworks
  • Experience implementing browser-based animations using tools like GSAP, CSS transitions, or Framer Motion
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, or JS frameworks like Vue or React for component styling and interaction
  • Comfortable troubleshooting cross-browser issues and conducting visual QA based on mockups

In-house candidates are strongly preferred.
